Books Read in 2011 ~ list

2011 list

Books we’ve read in 2011, pending reviews, and abandoned too. Including some geeky stats.

A bit meager since 2011 included “a dose of the crazies”.  With extended trips to our respective “homes” – England and California, as well as various other catastrophes (see “the gremlin attack” – where I lost my entire hard drive) and some personal losses, there wasn’t as much time for reading as we would have liked. But there’s always 2012!

Each book’s title links to it’s review when applicable. We have also included a few stats at the bottom.

BLIMEY, that's one hell of a List, of which I've not read many, but whilst perusing it I wondered if either of you had read any Jeff Noon?.

Pretty impressive list Shellie & John!

Shellie: Are you as anxious as I am for the second in the Chemical Romance Triology (I think the next book is due in a few weeks). Wither was amazing!

A belated Happy New Year!

Impressive lists! Don't know how you manage to read so many books at the same time, as the most I can manage is three. And they have to be different genres or forget it! *L*

Looking forward to seeing which ones were your favorites!

Gary -
Have you seen other lists with readers/bloggers going into the 200's for the number of books read in the year?

Makes us look like dabblers.

Neither of us has heard of Jeff Noon but it is curiously close to my dad's name - Jeff Nunn. *wink* - really. Beg do tell - who is he?

Kim -
And we were thinking it was a bit meager this year...

I did enjoyed - Wither - but would not put it on the top of my list. I do know it has been so very popular. I preferred - Feed - and am really enjoying - A Long Sleep - for YA dystopian.

Best wishes for your new year too!

I am not sure how I do it either, it's just that I am easily distracted so flit from one book to another. But I do know that I really love a book, when I can't put it down.

This year is going to be tough cutting our best list down to a manageable post.

Wow, that's quite a list. And I see there are several books here that I've been wanting to read and I somehow missed out on your reviews. I'll have to make sure to come back and catch up.
Hope you are having a great new year!

Gary -
Sounds like our/John's kind of author. I added one of his books as your recommendation on Goodreads. Literary sci fi and available at the library.. can't beat that.

Simcha -
